Happy Campus Program: Caring about students

The Happy Campus Program started by Tzu Chi Indianapolis Service Center at Nora Elementary School in 2012 received high praise from the school. In 2013, Tzu Chi Indianapolis volunteers decided to hold it again and to provide not only food, but also to educate students and parents (including many immigrants from Mexico, Africa, and Myanmar) how to become involved in American society. In addition, they taught food nutritional knowledge, as well as the importance of personal hygiene.Read more...
