Inmate’s Selfless Donation Kindles Caring Visits

Near the end of 2013, through the prison correspondence program of Chuang Yen Monastery in New York, Tzu Chi volunteers were able to bring copies of Jing Si Aphorisms and Tzu Chi USA Journal to the inmates. It received a tremendous response from the prisoners, many of who wrote letters to Tzu Chi to express how profoundly they were moved and inspired by the content, and some even began making regular donations from prison.
