Rosamond Free Clinic: Giving Care and Love

“Even though this free clinic is organized only once every three months, and only a couple of hours each time, you wouldn’t believe how big an impact Tzu Chi has on the people of Rosamond, California. The doctors not only treat diseases, but also teach the residents nutrition facts, oral hygiene, and other knowledge for healthy living. During these past years, I have seen a significant improvement in quality of life and self-confidence of the residents. Thanks to the love and care received from afar, they no longer feel abandoned. You guys just don’t know how much good you are doing for these people.” Local volunteer Aurea Henriquec has seventeen years of experience as a volunteer. She started working with Tzu Chi’s free clinic in 2001, and has never missed a free clinic since.Read more...
