Volunteers Attend Red Cross Course on Shelter Fundamentals

Following their first disaster relief seminar on July 19, American Red Cross personnel visited Tzu Chi’s Mid-Atlantic Regional office again on August 22. After having evaluated the Cedar Grove building with Regional Executive Director Jackson Chen and disaster relief coordinator David Chao, the American Red Cross praised its facilities and confirmed that the building could be listed as one of the Red Cross Emergency Shelters. It can now be used as a safe place to shelter and care for people when disasters strike.Read more...
