Buddha Bathing Ceremony Brings Joy to All

Spring’s sunlight after the rain made the grass even greener and more vigorous. The soothing breeze lifted everyone’s spirit. May 11, 2014 was the Vesak Day, Global Tzu Chi Day, and Mother’s Day. Tzu Chi Mid-Atlantic Region held a Buddha Bathing Ceremony and an outdoor fair to celebrate this special occasion. 920 participants included Tzu Chi volunteers and members as well as teachers and students from the Tzu Chi Academies. It was particularly touching to see 145 Tzu Chi members travel 160 km from Philadelphia in three buses to attend this event.Read more...
